What is MARC?
MARC is an Christian Missionary organization in Soldotna, Alaska.  The objective of MARC is to carry out the Great Commission in the outer most parts of the earth (Village Alaska).  MARC:
  • Works with Samaritan's Purse to operate several aircraft to transport missionaries, pastors, mission teams and Native Alaskan youth.
  • Repairs missionaries aircraft.R
  • Repairs aircraft as a business to support the ministry of MARC.
Who is served by MARC?
MARC primarily focuses on serving Native Alaskans.  There are some missions between MARC and Samaritan's Purse into Eastern Russia.

Why are you raising support?
MARC is a missionary organization that is not supported by a mission board.  We are responsible to raise contributions to the organization that will cover our salary. 

Who approves your budget?
The director of MARC helped us develop our budget.  He is the final approval authority on financial matters within MARC to include staff salaries.

When should I start Monthly Support?
We need our Monthly Supporters to sign up as soon as possible as we cannot leave until our Monthly Support is accounted for. Monthly support received now will be rolled into our Outbound Expenses.

Why should I start Monthly Support before you leave?
We must have our Monthly Support accounted for before we leave. The Monthly Support contributed now will be rolled into our Outbound Expenses.

When are you leaving?
The other question often asked that is similar is - Why are you still here? We are ready and willing to leave now. We will leave when God provides the resources for us to relocate and focus on serving in ministry.

Do you have to sell you house before you leave?
No. We have saved enough money to pay our mortgage for the next 12 months. We feel comfortable that the home will sell in the timeframe.
