TAYLORS FIRST BAPTIST CHURCH
Taylors is our Home Church and yesterday we had the sweet opportunity to attend TFBCworship one more time before we leave for Alaska. We have been speaking so often on Sundays during the last 18 months that we rarely have the opportunity to attend corporate worship. Yesterday was awesome as Pastor Paul preached on Nehemiah's prayer. Pastor Paul is so incredibly passionate about the Word of God and being encouraged by his teaching yesterday was just what we needed as we prepare for the road to Alaska. It reminded us how important it is in your Christian walk to be fed the Word of God and to be in Community with the Church. We also had the opportunity to spend time with our sweet friends in the Styles' Lifegroup and eat lunch with them. Several of our supporters come from this class and this was a time of fellowship and encouragement.

TIME TO SAY, "GOODBYE"
Our schedule is so full we were very deliberate to carve out time for our families.

with Gma at the zoo
Hanging out with Flamingos

This past week we spent the day with James' mom at the Columbia Zoo.

Gma with the girls
G-ma and some of the Girls

G-ma was such a trooper following the kids around the zoo all day. We visited the entire zoo, had lunch together, celebrated 3 birthdays, and celebrated Valentines day. It was quite a full day!

Time to say Goodbye
Time to say "Goodbye"

Then it was time to say, "Goodbye." Gma plans to visit Alaska next year with Aunt Dot so it won't be that long before we see her again.

This week we are visiting Jen's family. Jen's mom and dad are going to meet us at Jen's sister's house. Jen's sister Jodi is a Lieutenant Colonel in the Air Force and works at what used to be Pope Air Force Base. We are looking forward to a wonderful time with them this Friday.

Our families have been so supportive as we've prepared to serve God in Alaska. James' mom was one of our first monthly supporters and even throws in a little extra every now and then for the kids. Jen's mom and dad have worked very hard to help us; they did a lot of work to get our house ready for the market. It is really thanks to the hard work that Jen's parents and the Weaver family did that our house sold so quickly. We know they will miss Jen and the grandkids dearly. They might even miss James a little; just a funny. We will miss each other a lot.

PACKING THE TRAILER
For the last two years Kim and Chris Hall have allowed us to store the things we are Trailer Packingtaking to Alaska in their basement and Leroy and Sue Sellars have allowed us to keep our couch and television in their home. The time to move it out of the basement and home and into our trailer arrived this week. What stays??? What goes??? Do we leave the Christmas ornaments? Do we leave Jen's wedding dress? What about the kitchen table we've had since the kids were born? Whatever fits will go and the rest will stay - simple huh? When we get the trailer to Alaska we are going to unpack it and put the trailer up for sale. Anyone in Alaska need a 24'x8.5' enclosed trailer for $8500?

 That's all for now...
